Rates are very low and is popular with the traveling Certified Nurse Aids that come here. Rooms are fair sized, no oder, kept clean, and there is very easy access to the rooms. For some rooms i have seen you do need an adapter for plug grounding because it uses old style plugs. The motel provides your basic needs plus they have cable. During off season its also pretty easy to get a room with the amount of vacancies.
We had 2 rooms at this Motel, the Owners are Great People and the Rooms were very Clean!! A+
I'd give 4 1/2 stars if that were an option. This is a great little motel. Rooms are adequate in size and VERY BRIGHT, thanks to 4 windows, including one in the bathroom. It is old (charming?) but immaculate. No old motel odor at all. My room had a fridge and excellent TV service. Wifi was strong far from the office. Within walking distance are the few dining options in town, and all the services Highmore offers.
Notes: I was here when neither heat nor AC was required, so can't comment. Plugs in my room were not grounded, so I borrowed the adapter from the fridge to charge my computer.
Great relaxing hotel. May be older, but very clean, very friendly. Modern flat screen TV, Wifi, comfortable sleeping. Love supporting small business that show they care about their properties.
